What a week I don't know what I was thinking. The girls had the week off so I decided a while ago I would rent a beach cottage at Camp Pendleton and we would spend three nights there. That sounds great but I had to come back to San Diego every night one softball game and one soccer practice. But I never get over be amazed by God's glory. I was siting on the beach taking in the sea air I decided to listen to my I-pod and it was dead so I grabbed Hayley's and this is what was on. It made me smile the moment I heard it. Hearing this song and being song by my friend made me think how God has blessed me. Right now I am so incredibly lonely for my husband but God has surround me by wonderful friends and an incredible church where I can worship and love the Lord. I miss you Steve and Lauren but thought and prayed for you at the beach.

Lead Me
Recently I have felt God teaching me a lesson the hard way. In the past few weeks our pastors talked about how God doesn’t want us to do life a lone. To be able to ask for help when need. I struggle with this often and find my self overwhelm by life situations. The lesson of solely relaying on God is being shown to me through my son. Brayden’s surgery didn’t go as I wanted it to. We will know in two weeks if Brayden’s ear is healed and if not he will have no hearing in it till they can do another surgery when he is 10. I have found myself on my knees praying for him and reminding myself that God has a plain and to trust in him. He also reminds me that we need to boldly ask Him and others for what we want. It has brought me to this please pray for my son that God will heal his ear and would restore his hearing. This song and video has spoken to me this week and remind me that my heavenly father has not forgotten me maybe I have been forgetting him.

STAR STICKER MAN

Brayden was very quiet and I new that he was doing something. Then I said it is bed time and Brayden announced here is Star sticker Man. I took him to bed and said good night star sticker man he said good night star sticker mommy. It is so sweet to see his joy. We had a bit of a scare this weekend. I feel very blessed tonight. Saturday night we were waiting for a sitter and Brayden moved a bar stool in front of the front door to look out the peep hole. He did not see her I told him to get down and turned around and started to walk away and Brayden feel face first on to the tile in front of the door. As I turned to see him on the floor and the chair was on him. He tried to push himself up and hung his head to the side. As he started to scream he wouldn’t lift his head. As I ran towards him and try to see what had happened. My first thought was he broke his neck. As he screamed I saw blood start coming from his ear. At this point I thought I might need to call an ambulance. I got Heather on the phone and she came and got us. As I ran out of the house I gave the sitter the info and we were off to the hospital. Brayden got sick all over Heather car I felt so bad but what could I do. Anyway after a ct scan and many doctor’s asking what happened I feel blessed that Brayden has no bran injury. Brayden does have a left temporal bone fracture. I guess when they told me and I didn’t really get what that was but I have now educated my self thanks to the worldwide web. We are not sure yet if he will have any permanent hear loss or what if any damage was done to his ear drum. There is too much blood in his canal to see. In three weeks we will get his ear flushed out and another hearing test and see where we are at. That brings me to why I posted this. Please pray for my son and that God will heal him. There were some funny things about the night I smelled like puke for 24 hours and every doctor that came to talk with me stepped away. I also had Heather grab my car keys so I could get back into my house when she came to get us the next day, to bad I forgot to put my house key on that key ring. Heather held the trash can as I climbed the fence and jump on to my roof and broke in. As I sat in my car today trying to have a few moments with God waiting for carpool I read my daily bible verse it was Psalm 23:1-6. It was as if God pick it just for me. I felt my loving father reaching out and giving me just what I need, thank you.

I'm Back
What a great time we had in Colorado. I was born and raised in Colorado so Christams does not feel the same until I go home. We had a very white and cold Christmas. As you can see we went sledding. I went the longest that also may be because I weighed the most.
Brayden has become a master at the snow angel. I wasn't sure he would remember the snow. He love it he wanted to wear his boots all the time.
The girls always get to going skiing. It is funny how well they do for only going twice a year. Next year Brayden gets to go.
I missed going to church on Christmas Eve but God gave me this wonderful gift Christmas eve.

White Christmas

We leave tomorrow for our big trip. I have lived in San Diego for 17 years and it still does not feel like Christmas with out the snow. I love going home at this time of year. Colorado just got a bunch of snow all the mountains will look beautiful. I always get so excited about going home. My family rents out a large home in the mountains and we all stay together for three or four days. It is so fun and very crazy. I guess all family's have craziness. The kids and I will drive to Lemoore and stay two nights with Bret than early Saturday we will start our big trip. The kids love going skiing and sledding. Every year we take them skiing and I am always so amazed how well they do. I hope all my friends in San Diego have a wonderful Christmas. I truly miss my time with the choir and the Christmas service. See you next year.

Lemoore
I flew up to see Bret last night for his Christmas party. It was his first official function at his new job. When I arrived I saw this and thought God was showing me that Lemoore was going to be a great place.

Than Bret drove around the corner and showed me where he is living. I thought he was joking sorry to say he's not.

I have spent the last week fighting with Bret about feeling sorry for myself with all the things that I had to do by myself. God today show me very clearly that he is giving up a lot. I came home not sure what this next year will bring.
